SOHAR Port signs service agreement with Arkan Sohar Logistics
Sohar Port has announced that Omani company, Arkan Sohar Logistics will work with SOHAR Port to develop its Port based Container Freight Station, which will enable importers and exporters to consolidate goods into a single shipping container and also speed up processing of products arriving from international locations.
Arkan Sohar Logistics will also develop temperature-controlled warehousing facilities and a container yard within the 26000 m2 site to handle the maintenance, repair and conversion of shipping containers.
As SOHAR continues to expand and position Oman as a world-class logistics hub, the addition of these facilities adjacent to the port are vital for increasing operational efficiency, maintaining shipping line delivery times and providing customers with a world-class service in every aspect of their business.
